Understanding How Natural Herbs Work
This article is intended to provide information for those who are not familiar with natural herbs and our approach to improving health. This article is also intended to assist those who are considering an alternative approach to improving their health but are not sure as how to proceed.
A bit of history
Natural herbs have been used for various health issues for thousands of years. The best known history of herbs being used is in China and Native Americans here in the United States.
The United States years ago started developing Western Medicine. Scientists began developing drugs that were synthetically produced. These drugs were developed to control or regulate the various parts of our bodies. Because these drugs are synthetic, not natural, this causing toxins to build up in our lymphatic system causing causing congestion within our entire body.
What is the Lymphatic System?
The lymphatic system is actually the sewer system for our body.
Our body contains 2 different types of fluids.
1. Blood - Approximately 25% of your body fluid is blood (approximately 6 pints). Blood is transported throughout our body by vessels, veins and arteries, which helps keep the blood separated from the lymphatic fluid. The blood provides oxygen and nutrition to all parts of the body.
2. Lymphatic Fluid - Approximately 75% of your body fluid is lymphatic fluid (approximately 18 pints). The lymphatic fluid is throughout your body which we call the lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system is actually the sewer system for our bodies which is intended to keep the body clean of unwanted germs, bacteria and foreign matter. I feel the lymphatic system was primarily intended to process and eliminate the thousand of dead cells the our bodies produce every day. Thousands of years ago our foods were very clean and nutritious. These days, our foods are contaminated with pesticides, chemicals from our air and many other foreign matter. Prescription drugs also add to the toxins contained in the lymphatic system due to the synthetic chemicals used to make up the drug. These chemicals combined creates a congested lymphatic system. As a result, our lymphatic system has a much bigger role to play in keeping our bodies clean than years before.
How does a congested lymphatic system affect my health?
We have basically 2 avenues of elimination for the lymphatic system.
Our Kidneys - Our kidneys are intended to eliminate approximately 75% of our toxic waste from the lymphatic system. The kidneys filter toxins from the fluids and therefore the toxins are eliminated from our body. When the lymphatic system becomes congested, the kidneys also become congested which prevents the kidneys from filtering properly, hence the lymphatic system is backed up with toxins.
Our Bowels - Our bowels are intended to eliminate the toxic waste from our stomach, intestines, colon and bowels. When the bowels become congested, the toxins begin to build up in the walls of the intestines, stomach, colon and bowels, hence causing malabsorption. The cells are then unable to filter properly.
What happens when our lymphatic system becomes congested?
Please remember that the lymphatic system is our septic system for our body. The 2 avenues of elimination, the kidneys and the bowels, are to allow the lymphatic toxins to remove from our body. When this congestion occurs, the toxins are blocked from being eliminated. The kidneys begin to stop filtering properly and the bowels become congested and the normal 2 to 3 bowel movements per day is lessened.
Our bodies are intended to/ maintain a 7.0 pH factor, which is an alkaline environment. When the lymphatic system toxins build up it lowers our ph factor below the alkaline level. This is called an acidic environment or acidosis. When will lymphatic system becomes acidic, it becomes a perfect environment for (disease - a medical term).
What do you do about an acidic lymphatic system?
THE MEDICAL APPROACH
The Western Medical approach is to treat the symptoms or diseases with medication, treatment or surgery. I do believe that some medications are justified. However, the medications are of synthetic base which contain toxins that remain in our system and further congests the lymphatic system. Health issues then further ensue.
THE HERBAL APPROACH
The herbal approach is to cleanse the lymphatic system with various herbal formulas. A transition to fruits and vegetables diet are also necessary. Our approach is to cleanse and clean the lymphatic system, removing the damaging toxins so that your body’s pH Factor can improve as close to 7.0 as possible. This procedure changes the pH Factor from an acidic (disease) environment to an alkaline environment in which diseases such as cancer cannot exist. Diseases such as cancer can only exist in an acidic environment.
